My husband Allen and I adore this couple. The groom, Zach, lived next door to Allen at Virginia Tech, and the two have been friends ever since. We were so excited when Zach introduced us to Kari – we couldn’t wait to see them tie the knot! Mom and I felt so honored to help craft the flowers for Zach and Kari’s big day. Zach’s mom, Deb, is a flower genius! We worked together to create the ceremony and reception vision. Deb created the GORGEOUS altar arrangement in the pictures below. One of our favorite moments of the evening had to be the grand entrance of a surprise guest…the HOKIE BIRD! I think I cried happy tears.
Kari’s romantic style included her favorite flowers – garden roses and peonies. We could not get enough – that is one delicious bouquet (if I say so myself)! In the bridesmaids’ bouquets we included pops of color with open spray roses and hypericum berries. Enjoy some photos from their big day.
